Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 9, 2023

Zunglestore LLC (“Zunglestore”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy ("Policy”). This Policy describes how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose your information on this website, and any other pages where we reference this Policy (collectively, the “Sites”). This Policy is fully incorporated into our Terms of Service.

Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it in connection with our Sites. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Sites. By using the Sites, you agree to this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time (see Section 12 - Changes to Our Privacy Policy), and your continued use of the Sites after we make changes is deemed your acceptance of those changes. We will notify you of any material changes if and as required by law. This will include posting an updated copy here and updating the “Last Updated” date. Please check this Policy periodically for updates.

1.    Information We Collect

Zunglestore collects information you provide to us. For example, we collect information when you create an account, fill out a form, review, make a purchase, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. Depending on your activities on the Sites, we may collect the following information: your name, email address, phone number, postal address, account name, account password, credit or debit card information such as payment card type (i.e., Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and last 4 digits of card numbers, billing address, and any other information you choose to provide.

2.    Information Collected by Other Websites

When you click on links or embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.) on the Sites, they may direct you away from the Sites and redirect you to third-party websites or applications. Once you leave the Sites, you are no longer governed by this Policy. These third-party websites or applications may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party websites or applications.

For example, Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports (non-personally identifiable) services traffic. Our store uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits the Sites and what pages are being looked at. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can read more about how Google uses your information here: Privacy Policy – Privacy & Terms – Google.

You can opt-out of the tracking of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activities. For more information, please visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You can opt-out of targeted advertising at:
FACEBOOK - https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
GOOGLE - https://www.google.com/settings/ads/anonymous

Additionally, you can opt-out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at http://optout.aboutads.info/.

If you do not want us to use your information to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by sending us an e-mail to vip@zunglestore.com stating your request.

3.    Use of Information

Zunglestore uses the information we collect to deliver the products, services, and information you request and to customize your experience with us. We may also use the information we collect to:

  • respond to customer inquires and fulfill customer requests;
  • communicate with customers about and to process orders, purchases, returns, services, donations, promotions, campaigns, programs, contests, sweepstakes, rewards and accounts;
  • improve customer experience with our products and services, such as by personalizing customer experience;
  • permit customers to participate in social sharing, including live social media feeds;
  • provide targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you;
  • detect, prevent, or investigate potential security incidents or fraud;
  • facilitate the functionality of our mobile applications and websites;
  • comply with applicable law and legal process;
  • respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; and
  • carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.

If you send certain specific submissions (for example, contest entries), creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by e-mail, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, “Comments”), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use in any medium any Comments that you forward to us. For more information about how we handle your Comments, please review our Terms of Service.

4.    Sharing of Information

Zunglestore integrates Facebook® and Instagram® with our Shopify® store, and we use Klaviyo® email services to manage email marketing campaigns. Also, we may share information with others as follows:

  • with vendors, service providers, and consultants that perform services for us, including web hosting and communication, payment processing, product or service delivery, marketing, customer services, and data enhancement;
  • in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements; and
  • with your consent or at your direction.

5.    Your Rights and Choices

If you do not want us to use your information for marketing purposes, you can opt-out by (a) unchecking the box stating “Email me with news and offers” when you complete a transaction with us; (b) sending us an e-mail with your request to vip@zunglestore.com; (c) clicking on the “Unsubscribe” or similar link in the most recent e-mail you received from us and following the prompts that appear; or (d) sending us a return e-mail asking to be omitted from future e-mail distributions.
This opt-out does not apply to information provided as a result of a product purchase, customer support inquiry, or other transactional communications (for example, an order confirmation or response to a specific inquiry or request you have made to us).

You can review and change your information by logging into the Site and visiting your account profile page. You may also send us an e-mail at vip@zunglestore.com to request access, correct, or delete that information. We will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis.

Note that change or deletion requests are subject to certain limitations. For example, we may retain your information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other record keeping purposes, or to maintain your account as active, or to process transactions and facilitate your requests.

If you delete your Comments from the Site, copies of your Comments may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or may have been copied or stored by other site users. Proper access and use of information on the Sites, including Comments, is governed by our Terms of Service.

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. However, if you disable or refuse cookies, you may be unable to access certain parts of the Sites, or certain parts of the Sites may not function properly. To learn more about cookies and how to manage them, go to www.allaboutcookies.org/.

7.    Shopify

Zunglestore.com is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. You can find more information about Shopify’s data practices at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

If you choose a direct payment gateway (via Shopify Payment) to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. For more information, please read Shopify’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8.    Data Retention and Security Measures

8.1 Data Retention

When you place an order through the Sites, Zunglestore will maintain your order information for our records. We will remove your data from our internal systems only upon written request from you personally or from our primary point of contact within your organization. This data removal does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Note, however, that removing your data from our systems may severely impact our ability to serve you in a seamless manner should you wish to re-engage or continue working with us.

8.2 Security Measures

Wherever we collect sensitive information, we take commercially suitable precautions to collect and transmit that information in a secure way, including the use of firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, and Site monitoring. We also protect your information offline as well, such as by granting access to personally identifiable information only to those employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service). We provide the same level of security and safeguards to current and former clients.

You should understand that no data storage system or transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on the Sites. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to our Site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.

9.    Cookies

A cookie is a data file that is placed on your device and often includes an anonymous unique identifier. You may manage cookies through your browser, but it may impact your access to certain parts of the Sites if you disable any cookies. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to the Sites. For more information about cookies and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. We may collect information through the following cookies:

(a) Flash Cookies: Certain features of the Sites may use local stored objects or Flash cookies to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation on the Sites. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies.

(b) Log Files: Log files track actions occurring on the Sites and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

(c) Web Beacons, Tags, and Pixels: Pages of the Sites and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an e-mail and for other related site statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain site content and verifying system and server integrity).

This Site does not respond to any “do not track” signals sent by your computer, browser, or mobile device, and if your computer, browser, or mobile device sends a “do not track” signal to this Site, this Site will treat you no differently from users who do not send such signals. For more information, please visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out page (www.optout.networkadvertising.org/) and the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Assistance page (www.youradchoices.com/choices).

We recognize the particular importance of protecting privacy where children are involved. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under the age of 16, and our services and products are not intended for the use by children under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian, and you are aware that your child has provided us with information without your consent, please contact us at vip@zunglestore.com, and we will delete that information from our databases in accordance with applicable laws.
